Phil Hendricks, past board member of GreenMan Theatre Troupe, is a server and stay-at-home dad raising his family in Elmhurst, Illinois. He holds a B.S. from Illinois State University in Theatre - Acting.Phil has called Elmhurst his home for 25 years, graduating from York Community High School where he participated in athletics, Art Staff, as well as band and begin his career acting.
Phil attended Illinois State University and was a Steppenwolf Acting Internship Finalist. After graduating, he acted in Chicago at such theaters' as Strawdog Theatre Company and Lid Prod. Moving from Chicago to Los Angeles, Phil studied at The Actor's Space with Joe Palese and acted on film for director Pat Healy and Brian Wright. In between Chicago and L.A., Phil spent a season in Key West, acting for The Waterfront Playhouse in Mallory Square.
Upon returning to Elmhurst Phil quickly fell in with GreenMan Theatre Troupe, acting in their 2007 winter fund raiser, 'Who Killed Hamlet, or Murder: Stage Right,' and running sound on 'The Importance of Being Ernest.' In the summer of '07, Phil joined the board of directors.
