“Nevermore” is a new script, adapted and directed by GreenMan Board Member, Cory Sandrock of Elmhurst.
"Nevermore: The Dark World Of Edgar Allan Poe."“Nevermore” is a new script, adapted and directed by GreenMan Board Member, Cory Sandrock of Elmhurst.
The play is a dark journey through the mind and imagination of Edgar Allan Poe and incorporates many of Poe’s best known characters and stories. GreenMan is timing the production to open just before Halloween, so think scary and frightening.
Sandrock says that Poe’s tragic life influenced the dark and mournful tone of his writing; the production, he says, will explore that intersection of life and imagination.
Performances will be at the Elmhurst Masonic Lodge at 103 Arthur St. at the corner of York and Arthur.
October 19 through November 4.
Fridays/Saturdays 7:30 p.m.; Sundays 3:00 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors.
