GreenMan Offers Free Playreading at Café Amano

GreenMan Theatre Troupe will present a reading of actor and comic Steve Martin's popular play, "Picasso at the Lapin Agile."

The reading will be 7:30 pm Monday, January 28 at Café Amano, 105 S. York Rd, in Elmhurst. Café Amano is located at the corner of York Rd and Park Ave.

The reading is free to the public.

Martin's comedy "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" takes place in 1904 and brings together the painter, Pablo Picasso, and the scientist, Albert Einstein, for a fictional meeting at the Lapin Agile, a famous café in Paris. They discuss art, science…and women, and debate the importance of genius and talent. Other colorful characters appear, including a mysterious visitor from the future.
