Farce and the Fantastical on Stage in Elmhurst
This fall we will bring Edgar Allan Poe’s fantastical and macabre world to life with a new production,
“Nevermore: The Dark World of Edgar Allan Poe.”
The show opens right before Halloween, and runs from Oct. 19 through Nov. 4 at the Elmhurst Masonic Lodge.
Auditions are being held at the Lodge, 103 Arthur Street in Elmhurst, on Sunday, Aug 26 at 1 p.m., Monday, Aug 27 at 7 p.m., and Tuesday Aug 28 at 7 p.m. Call 312-933-3254 for more information about “Nevermore” auditions.
This winter, GreenMan will return to Angelo’s Ristorante in Elmhurst for their annual dinner theatre murder mystery.
That production will run February 16-17 and 22-23. Auditions for the dinner show will be in December.
The season will close with funnyman Steve Martin’s adaptation of “The Underpants,” a farce that centers around a young wife who gains a little too much attention from her neighbors when she has a ‘wardrobe malfunction’ in public.
The comedy runs from Apr 18 through May 4 at the Lodge. Auditions
for “The Underpants” will be in late February.
