Laura Lewis-Barr, Artistic Director of Inspirare Theatre, is a director, writer, and performer.
She has taught at College of DuPage, Sauk Valley Community College and Oakton Community College.
Her plays include 'Chernobyl's Fire' and 'Cloistered Honey' produced recently at Inspirare, 'Addicted to Mars' produced at the Pittsburgh New Works Festival, and 'Darwin's Dilemma' produced at Circle Theatre's New Play Fest.
She has also directed for Steel Beam Theatre. Laura holds a masters in drama training from San Francisco State University, and has also studied at UC Davis.
