
GreenMan Spring Production Auditions
What happens when a man wakes up one day and thinks he's a famous painter? Three girls go on a miniature golf date with the same guy? A television set comes alive? And a bumbling tourist goes to see a faith healer? You've entered the crazy and funny world of David Ives.
GreenMan is pleased to announce auditions for the spring production of "I Only Have Ives for You," an evening of comic short plays by David Ives. Award-winning playwright David Ives has been called "a master of fun" by the New York Times, and "a wondrous wordmaster" by Time magazine.
Auditions are Mon-Tue-Wed, Mar 2-3-4 at 7:30 p.m. First United Methodist Church, 232 S. York Rd in Elmhurst.

Foreplay, or the Art of the Fugue [3m, 3w]
Green Hill, The [1m, 1w + extras]
Moby Dude [1m]
Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage [3m, 2w]
Arabian Nights [1m, 2w]
Captive Audience [2m, 2w]
Degas, C'est Moi [1m, 1w + extras]

Appointments not required. No pay. Volunteers needed to assist in several areas.
The production runs Fri-Sat-Sun, Apr 17 - May 3.

Several directors will be contributing to the program, including Craig Gustafson, who directed GreenMan's "Waiting for Godot," and Joe Collins, who appeared as the FBI man in disguise, 'Sister' Grimaldi, in "Boardwalk Melody Hour Murders." Also directing are board members Phil Hendricks, who appeared in "Murder: Stage Right," and Cory Sandrock, who directed "Nevermore: The Dark World of Edgar Allan Poe."
