GreenMan Theatre Troupe Announces:

Auditions for

"Speakeasy or Die Hard":

A murder mystery dinner theatre production.

When: Auditions are Dec 13-14-15. Sun at 1 pm, Mon-Tue at 7 p.m. You only need to come to one of these audition dates. Appointments not required.

Where: First United Methodist Church, 232 S. York Rd in Elmhurst.

What: There are roles for at least four women and four men. Auditions will consist of readings from the script and short character improvisation. The production is directed by Carolyn thomas-Davidoff, who directed last year's popular "Honeymoon from Hell," and appeared as Lady Bracknell in "The Importance of Being Earnest." "Speakeasy or Die Hard" is an original interactive murder mystery entertainment, conceived by Carolyn Thomas-Davidoff and Maria Benner.

Optional prepared song: The dinner shows also include musical entertainment, so if you wish to be considered as a singer - please prepare a song [16 bars] of your choice - this is optional, as not all characters will sing. The show is set in 1920's speakeasy - so music of the period would be preferred.

Rehearsals: There will be one all cast meeting in December; regular rehearsals will begin 1/4/10. Usual schedule will be rehearsals Mon., Wed., Thurs. evenings and Sun. afternoon.

There is no pay. Volunteers needed to assist in several areas.

Performances: Performances run Feb. 19-28, Fri. and Sat. at 7 pm and Sun. at 6 pm, five performances, no performances on 2/21.
