GreenMan Theatre Announces Cast of
"Pride and Prejudice!"

“Pride and Prejudice” is the comic love story of strong willed Elizabeth Bennet and the equally strong willed Mr. Darcy. There are five unmarried daughters in the Bennet household. When two handsome strangers, Mr. Darcy and Mr. Bingley, move into the neighborhood, Elizabeth’s mother, Mrs. Bennet, decides that Mr. Bingley would be a good match for one of her daughters.

“Pride and Prejudice” has delighted generations of readers and has been adapted into several popular films. Jane Austen's novel is being performed in an adaptation by award winning author Christina Calvit.

Behind the scenes for “Pride and Prejudice,” Jim Ocasek [Elmhurst] will design the set, and Benjamin Vargas [Addison] will design the costumes. Steven Hill [Hillside] will design the lights; Cheryl Turek [Glen Ellyn] is the stage manager. GreenMan’s artistic director David Soria [Westmont] will direct the production. The choreographer is Judy Soria [Elmhurst], and the assistant director is Carl Zeitler [Glen Ellyn].
