Final Weekend for
The Guys

The Guys
A GreenMan Showcase Production

GreenMan Theatre Troupe begins their eighth season with this newly added Showcase production. GreenMan's Showcase will feature special projects and new works. "The Guys" will be the premiere Showcase production.
"The Guys" deals with an editor assisting a New York Fire Department captain in the preparation of the eulogies for the numerous firefighters who died under his command during the aftermath of the World Trade Center collapse. The New York Times wrote that "The Guys" is not an ordinary night in the theater... What comes through is that humanity can be exalted by expression as well as the other way around.” The production will be presented as part of commemorations of the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
"The Guys" will be directed by David Soria; Cheryl Rice and Chuck Jacobson will appear in the production. Katie Monahan is the assistant director.

"The Guys" opens September 9 and runs two weekends, six performances, through September 18. The production will take place at the First United Methodist Church, 232 S. York St., in Elmhurst.
Tickets are $17, and $15 for students and seniors.
Fri/Sat performances start at 7:30, Sun at 2:00. For more information about the production call 630-464-2646.
*Nominal processing fees (approx. $1 per ticket) apply to online order.
