The Wicked Reign…

 Ends this Weekend...

There are only 3 more performances for GreenMan Theatre's production of Macbeth. William Shakespeare's anatomy of evil deals with ambition, political unrest, murder, betrayal, revenge, and witchcraft. Shakespeare's plays are meant to be seen, and this production rings the alarm bell with drama, tragedy, and swordfighting. Audiences have been full of praise for GreenMan's interpretation of this timeless tragedy. The last few shows figure to be near capacity or sold out, so please reserve tickets by ordering online or calling the box office. Don't miss out on this bloody tragedy which now suits with the time of Halloween and upcoming elections.

Macbeth is directed by GreenMan Artistic Director David Soria. "Macbeth is Shakespeare's psychological horror story. And there's certainly no lack of interest in the horror genre! Movies, books, and even our fascination with Halloween decorations all show that love of horror. We seem to like being frightened, at least a little bit. Macbeth is one of Shakespeare's plays that has just grown in relevance for audiences. You have this wonderful mix of witchcraft and horror, psychological drama and fantasy, all this action, wrapped up in Shakespeare's words and story," Soria noted.

Macbeth features Lauren Anders, Ryan Bamrick, Steve Blount, Peter Buckley, Rachel Cram, Denise D'Asto, Steve Delchamps, Justin Martin Fill, Hayley Harper, James Harper, Matt Heine, Stan Kosek, Grace Martinez, Valerie Meachum, Paul Moy, Isabella Nicoli, Alice Rebecchi, Holly Robison, James Silverstein, Steven Soria, Davione VanPelt, Bruce Worthel, and Carl Zeitler.

Macbeth opened October 19 and runs for 1 more weekend until November 4. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7:30 PM and Sunday matinees begin at 2 PM.

All performances are held in Asbury Hall at First UnitedMethodist Church at 232 S. York in Elmhurst.
