Cast of Macbeth Announced!

GreenMan Theatre is proud to announce the cast of the first mainstage production of their ninth season, William Shakespeare's anatomy of evil, Macbeth. The classic tragedy, which contains thematic elements of political ambition and supernatural witchcraft, will fittingly run for three weekends during the Halloween season leading up to election day. Macbeth is Shakespeare's shortest and bloodiest tragedy as it follows the title character's ambition to forcibly seize the throne from the King of Scotland, foretold by three mysterious witches and spurred on by his wife. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth must then contend with the consequences of their actions as their guilty descent into madness and further violence affects not only them but others around them.

Macbeth will open on Friday October 19 and run for nine performances until Sunday November 4.

Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 PM while Sunday matinees start at 2 PM.

All performances will be held in Asbury Hall at First United Methodist Church at 232 S. York in Elmhurst. Tickets are $17 for adults and $15 for seniors/students. Free parking is available.
